HBOT - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric chamber for hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Hyperbaric medicine, also known as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT),is a medical treatment which enhances the body's natural healing process by inhalation of 100% oxygen. It's the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure. The equipment required consists of a hyperbaric pressure chamber, and a means of delivering 100% oxygen. Operation is performed to a predetermined schedule by trained personnel who monitor the patient and may adjust the schedule as required. HBOT found early use in the treatment of decompression sickness, and has also shown great effectiveness in treating conditions such as gas gangrene and carbon monoxide poisoning. Other conditions treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy include serious infections, bubbles of air in your blood vessels, and wounds that won't heal as a result of diabetes or radiation injury. It has long been known that healing many areas of the body cannot take place without appropriate oxygen levels in the tissue. Most illnesses and injuries occur, and often linger, at the cellular or tissue level. In many cases, such as: circulatory problems; non-healing wounds; and strokes, adequate oxygen cannot reach the damaged area and the body's natural healing ability is unable to function properly. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy provides this extra oxygen naturally and with minimal side effects. Read more about the use of hyperbaric chambers here.

We design Containerized Decompression Chamber for transport on road, by air and sea. The product enables hyperbaric oxygen treatment during transport.
The CDC often have a support container with gas store and compressor. A portable minor monoplace chamber to fit the containerized multiplace chamber is frequently requested since patientsareoftenin urgent need of hyperbaric oxygen treatment.

This type of containerized chamber system is used mainly in military use or for the offshore industry.
